SALUS, Ljubljana, d.d. is one of the leading wholesalers of pharmaceutical, medical and related products in the Slovenian market. We have been successfully following our mission – care for the health and well-being of inhabitants of Slovenia – for over forty years.
Our company remains committed to supreme ethical principles of good cooperation and social responsibility and to realization of the highest expectations of our customers, owners and employees. We are proud to bear our important role in the interest of Slovenian society.
Beside providing a quality, efficient and uninterrupted supply of medicines, medical devices, medical supplies, dietary supplements, cosmetics and other products to hospitals, pharmacies, community health centers and other customers, we also provide a number of additional services, predominantly those related to registration of medicines and distribution and storage of pharmaceutical, medical and other products. Our business strategy is focused on constant expansion of our product range, number of suppliers and quality of our services. In recent years we have recorded a constant rate of growth both in terms of the turnover and market share. In 2008, we have successfully conquered over a third of the Slovenian market. The company’s international trade activities, purchase of goods from the EU countries and other foreign countries is nearing half of the entire value of purchases, presents an important competitive advantage of Salus in the Slovenian pharmaceutical market.
We actively cooperate with national and international institutions working in health and trade field and constantly invest in the development of the pharmacy network, thus actively supporting the development of Slovenian health care, protection of the environment and maintenance of cultural heritage.

The results we have achieved in sales and operation, the extent, structure and long term of our business relationships with our partners, continuous education of employees and expansion of information technology support, increased competitiveness and the business reputation of our company assure us a stable position and are an excellent foundation for future development and success. In our anniversary year we introduced many new activities for further improvement of our services and greater company development. The most sizeable of our new project is without doubt the construction of a new Salus warehouse and logistics centre with larger capacity and new technology, which will enable us realizing business excellence and meeting the demands and expectations of our partners in the coming years.
